Don’t fit in, stand out
It’s 2022, lets face it, every single business out there has an online presence. It gets complicated when you realise that the market has never been more competitive, so your brand needs to stand out from the rest.
BE DIFFERENT
First, think about what makes your brand different from your competitors. What is your unique selling point? What offers separate you from the rest? Finding what makes your brand unique and different makes it stand out and attracts those who could be your potential dream clients. You have to know what makes you special, what makes you distinctive, and once you have that and you know what that is, make sure you know how to market and emphasise it.
BE CONSISTENT.
Your brand is you, and having clear and consistent branding will always make your business stand out. Have identifiable brand colours, have set templates for your social media posts, and have a schedule of what days to post certain topics (promo posts on Mondays, about me posts on Wednesdays, things like that). You need to be consistent and clear throughout all of your social media sites, as well as your website. Having coherent branding will always attract the right people to you.
In order to stand out from the crowd, knowing the latest trends is incredibly important. Be very aware and always research what is the latest trend in your industry and try to find ways to apply those trends to your content. If you’re in fashion, talk about the latest Fashion Week shows; if you’re in the food industry, make posts trying trending foods from social media. This way, you will stand out from your competitors and attract new clients.
BE BOLD.
And one last tip I can give you to make your business stand out is to always keep introducing, revamping, and re-releasing new services or products. Be innovative, be original, be bold! Think about what your products and services are, as well as what your competitors provide, and come up with new ideas that are eye-catching and will appeal to your clients. Make sure that the new services you introduce are something new and something that people would be excited to purchase! Attention-grabbing products will always help your brand stand out from the crowd.
Standing out from competitors in a market that keeps getting more and more saturated as the years go by is no easy task, however, there are ways to take advantage of this and make your brand stand out. Applying any of the tips given above will make your brand, not only unique but also more approachable, therefore, making you different and unique.
